Salt Ashes “Save It”

Salt Ashes releases video for lead single from self-titled debut album, “Save It”

Emerging UK electronic singer-songwriter Salt Ashes released her self-titled debut album towards the end of 2016, which solidified the songstress as an artist to watch in the electronic music scene. The album stays true to Salt Ashes’ signature dark Pop songs and has a zeitgeist club sound, which she has become known for since bursting onto the music scene.

The album has quickly gained popularity with music fans worldwide, and the lead single “Save It” Charted on Billboard Magazine’s Dance Club Chart peaking at #22. The lead single has also charted on Music Week’s Club Charts, including the Upfront Club Chart Top 40 and Commercial Pop Top 30, and Kings of Spins Top 20 Chart.

Salt Ashes extraordinary lead single has received rave reviews from UK’s discovery site Record of the Day (“now comes this brilliant on-trend banger with one hell of a chorus and everything required to be an instant worldwide smash. Calvin Harris would probably kill for this tune”) as well as US tastemakers Idolator (“Salt Ashes has whipped up a firecracker with her new single.”) With a 90’s club scene vibe “Save It” is a breath of fresh air for electronic pop.

The ‘Save It’ music video, which debuted on Billboard January 2017, is an abstract and artistic piece of work which captures the darkness and beauty of fighting for a love that others do not approve of. Directed by Salt Ashes and Ian Coulson, the video displays intense passion, tension, and defiance, in which the song was intended to evoke.

“Save It” has received remix treatments from some of today’s leading DJ’s and producers including Grammy awarding-winning Dave Audé, Manuel Riva, Jerome Price, Cruelty and more. The remixes of the single have received support from renowned music discovery outlets including BBC Radio 1Xtra, KISS FM UK, Napster, and Gaydio.
