MDNGHT “Breeze”

Manchester dance collective MDNGHT fine tune elements of house, balearic beats and disco to create celestial anthems that glide and grind into the late night ether.
On stage, J (vocals) Will and Ant (guitars) and Lloyd (DJ / percussion) perform a live show that has more in common with a club night than a traditional ‘gig’ setting, merging the energy of a live band with the relentless, euphoric excitement of a DJ set. Early live reviews described the bands sound as ‘sophisticated disco inspired house’ with an onstage charisma and energy that, “hits you like a sugar rush”.

After signing to leading UK DJ agents Coalition Talent in Nov 2013 the band played live and Dj sets at last years Blackpool rocks alongside Radio 1 Dj’s and breakthrough acts like disclosure and The 1975, before embarked on a run of live dates in Jan and Feb of 2014.

Keen to continue with their own unique blend of dance on the road, MDNGHT are about to embark on another run of live shows and festivals after being invited to play Radio 1’s Big Weekend in May 2014 in Glasgow as one of the stations emerging artists.

The band’s next single, the sultry post-holiday ‘Breeze’ (Nothing really matters) was released on October 13th on MUK and accompanied with a 10 date University ‘freshers’ tour before they unveil their newly completed debut album entitled ‘Alive’ in Spring of 2015.
