THE INFAMOUS MOTORHEAD! Back on the road with “The World is Yours” tour, 2012.

Motorhead started in 1975 when Lemmy Kilmister returned to London, determined to start his own band to avoid being fired again, he decided it would be called ‘Bastard,’ but management overuled and ‘Motorhead,’ a song Lemmy had written as a B-side for Hawkwind, was born. With drummer, Lucas Fox and Pink Fairies guitarist, Larry Wallis, and Lemmy on bass and vocals, Motorhead began gigging and recorded their first album, which their record company refused to release at the time, (it later emerged in 1980 as ‘On Parole’).

Not since the invention of the original sin has Israel had such a hot export. Described as “Extremely Gorgeous…” by the New York Times and “breathtaking” by Variety Magazine. Meital (pronounced “Mey-tål”) was born Meital Dohan in Tel Aviv.

No stranger to the spotlight, Meital is a two-time Israeli Oscar nominee for her performances in God’s Sandbox and Giraffes. She also won an Israeli Tony for Most Promising New Actress for her work with the renowned Cameri Theater and was principal star in the Israeli Emmy Award-Winning Ugliest Esti – the Israeli version of Ugly Betty. Among many other roles, Meital has authored a number of successful plays and the book “Love & Other Bad Habits”.

US audiences were first introduced to her as Yael Hoffman on Showtime’s Weeds and as Aurora in the Sony Pictures web comedy Woke Up Dead, co-starring Jon Heder and Wayne Knight. Meital also stars in the upcoming feature Foreclosure with Michael Imperioli and Wendell Pierce. Her most recent film, Monogamy (Oscilloscope), co-starring Chris Messina and Rashida Jones, won the Best Narrative Feature at the Tribeca Film Festival and received rave reviews.

On stage, Meital recently co-starred as Abby with John Ventimiglia (The Sopranos) in the Off-Broadway and LA productions of Anthony Neilson’s play Stitching, which is now being developed into a feature film directed by Bernard Rose (Candy Man).

In early 2011 the Israeli bombshell caught the attention of mega hip-hop producer Che Pope (Lauren Hill, Eminem, Dr. Dre) and they began to record her debut album “I’m In Hate With Love”. Including such tracks as “Get to the Point” and “Nobody’s Got Time for Love”. Meital’s first release is the single “Yummy Boyz”. The track has been described as a “sexy, sassy electro-pop romp” along with the recently completed video that can best be described as… well, see for yourself.”

Meital’s music directly reflects her attitude on the world by celebrating the return of fun, heartfelt music that does away with packaged pretenses and Barbie-doll stereotypes for a more genuine approach to her music, her acting and her everyday life.

Eclecticism has been a hallmark of Richard Patrick’s career in Filter, and it’s administered with crushing efficiency on The Trouble With Angels. Fans weaned on the industrial outbursts and corrosive beats of 1995′s Short Bus and 1999′s Title of Record will be ecstatic to hear Patrick’s unmistakable scream and unflinching honesty dominating the new album.

The prolific multi-instrumentalist couches intensely personal narratives in throwback industrial crushers subject to multiple interpretations. On the surface, leadoff single “The Inevitable Relapse” details a shattered man succumbing to addiction, but can be read as a study of love lost, consumption or obsession, depending on your perspective. Not to mention its isolated bass line and thudding chord collapse both conjure and modernize Filter’s breakthrough smash, “Hey Man, Nice Shot.”

The guessing game continues down Angels’ track list. Is the hammering “Absentee Father” about the man upstairs or an unreliable blood relation? Does the fist-pumping “No Love” take a nation addicted to warfare to task, or is it a flagellation of the narrator’s own selfishness? Patrick prefers ambiguity, but one thing is obvious: The Trouble With Angels boasts his strongest, most aggressive songwriting yet. “I’ve heard people say, ‘Well, Richard is mellowing with age…’ and I was like, really?” he exclaims with characteristic intensity. “Mellow?! You know what? I’ve been looking for an excuse to tear people’s heads off again!”

“The first three songs [on the new record] are for people who are super-pissed and want Short Bus, and then everything after that, it’s like what we did with Title and [2002's] Amalgamut,” Patrick continues. “There’s one song that’s maybe as soft as [Title's crossover hit] ‘Take a Picture.’ [But] I truly believe to this day my audience should be as eclectic as I am. If they can listen to Radiohead, then Pantera, they should be able to listen to that within the same band.”

Lyrically and musically, Patrick’s taken it to the next level. Employing the talents of collaborators new and old (drummer Mika Fineo and original right-hand man Brian Liesegang, who contributes sound design to the lush “Fades Like a Photograph”), he unleashes serrated riffs that recall old-school pit-starters like “Dose,” “Under” and “Welcome to the Fold.” Sometimes they even have to be dragged into the world kicking and screaming. “The solo in ‘Absentee Father,’ it’s like total disregard,” Patrick laughs. “A complete and utter fuck you-ism solo that doesn’t follow any rules whatsoever; completely avant-garde, and it’s the third song on the record. It’s the ultimate [example of] At-this-moment-I-have-absolutely-no-regard-for-the-rules-of-music-whatsoever-and-it’s-time-to-break-them-to-make-this-thing-say-what-I-need-to-say.”

For an album of closed fists and open ends, the title track can’t possibly be misinterpreted. Patrick confronts the scientifically-challenged tenets of fundamentalist proselytizers, assuring, “When you take a better second look, miracles fade.” On the other side of the coin, he remains unafraid to explore his own failings and make honest music out of them. Take “Drug Boy”: “When we were kids, we’d trip out on whatever and just walk around graveyards in Cleveland. Somebody would inevitably stumble across a mausoleum, palm a skull and take off with it. ’12 hours of acid, let’s dig up a casket,’” he laughs, quoting the lyrics.

Patrick is quick to give credit to producer Bob Marlette for not only putting the perfect corrosive “finishing touches” on the record, but encouraging his brutally candid lyrical approach. Ultimately, though, provocative his Angels are, the frontman insists, “I don’t want to come off as if I’ve got an agenda on this record – I really don’t. I want to tell the truth inside of me and relate it to the folks who are going through these lives we lead.”

Blessed by a Burden is an Alternative Metal band from ‘Sin City’ Las Vegas, Nevada. Merging symphonic composition with a post-hardcore style, they’re bringing a unique sound to the music scene.

The band was founded in mid 2010 by guitarist/songwriter Josh Osborne, and current roster includes vocalist Harrison Lea, guitarist Mikey Mutzhaus, bassist Steven Findlay, and drummer Chris Alyx.

After a two week west coast tour in Oct/Nov 2010, Blessed by a Burden entered and won the ‘Rock Yourself to Sleep Tour 2011′ contest, gaining the oppurtunity to tour with We Came As Romans and For Today in January 2011. This halted the completion of their ep, but the tour brought a wide U.S. fanbase to the band.

Once back from tour, Blessed by a Burden signed with Standby Records and finished recording their ep with producer Patrick Crisci. The ep, titled ‘Addiction’, was released in Oct 2011. After an east coast tour in support of the EP, Blessed by a Burden returned home to begin work on their full length album, ‘Vitia Mundi’. The album is set to be released in May 2012.

Castrofate is a thrash metal band which was formed in 2007 by singer / songwriter / lead guitarist & bassist Dan Castro, with the debut album ‘Awakening of the Beast’. Helping out with the drum tracks and engineering was Dan’s cousin Rob Menak. Dan then decided to hit the studio again after just a few months with a brand new set of material for the 2008 sophomore release ‘Cataclysmic Insanity’, the first to be engineered by Vin Cin (TYPE O NEGATIVE, RAMONES) at Electric Plant Sound Studios in Brooklyn, and also the first to feature Dmitriy Shnaydman (EXIT TO ETERNITY, DEAD MEN DREAMING) on drums.

The second album was followed by some incredible touring experiences as Castrofate embarked on international tours in Ecuador and Europe. Immediately following the return from Europe in March 2009, Dan & Dmitriy once again hit the studio at Electric Plant for the 3rd album ‘iHuman’. This album marked the first cover painting by Eliran Kantor. The band conducted a short tour around the US in August 2009 for the ‘iHuman’ album. Returning once again 2 years later to Vin Cin’s Electric Plant, Dan brought in Dmitriy once more for the 4th Castrofate album ‘Systematic Suicide’ which features the most fast energetic thrash metal Castrofate has ever written before, and another striking cover by Eliran Kantor. The album is definitely a more focused offering than the first 3 albums, and it was released on October 2, 2011. With 12 songs and totally pro packaging as always, ‘Systematic Suicide’ is available for purchase only on CD Format for only $8. ‘iHuman’ (2009) & ‘Cataclysmic Insanity’ (2008) are also in stock for the same low price, with 10 songs each. CASTROFATE Filmed & Released it’s First Music Video for the song “Revelation (Truth Be Told)” off the album ‘Systematic Suicide” which coincided with the album’s release. Paypal is accepted to paypal ID: castrofate@aol.com . 2012 sees Castrofate finally in full 3-piece formation, with the addition of Mike Poplees on Bass and John Lonergan on Drums. They will be making their recording debut with Castrofate on the 5th album, which wreleasedork will commence in the fall. New Drummer John Lonergan has made his Music Video Debut this past Saturday for the title track “Systematic Suicide”. Due to a family emergency, new bassist Mike Poplees was unable to attend the video, but will make his debut Video appearance when the band makes it’s 3rd Music Video. The “Systematic Suicide” Video will be in March 2012. For now be sure to check out the “Revelation (Truth Be Told)” video above!

“I’ve been to hell and back, but this lion has conquered, so the sky is the only limit for me now,” declares Sadiki-I, “I’m here for a reason. I’ve made it here for a purpose.” When you listen to Sadiki-I’s music, you get an understanding of that purpose. His dancehall infused Hip Hop with a message is the sum of a multi-faceted life he lives. The winding road of Sadiki-I’s life started in the serenity of the Caribbean, born on the volcanic island of Montserrat, Jevon White a.k.a Sadiki-I a.k.a Crazy Horse. By the age of eight, he immigrated to Boston, Massachusetts to live with his father Mr. George Buffonge, who at that time was one of the biggest Caribbean concert promoters in New England. Not only was his father responsible for bringing some of the biggest shows to the New England area, but he organized the annual Boston Caribbean Carnival which today attracts up to 1,000,000 people from all over the world. As a child watching his father work, provided Sadiki-I his first glimpse at his future in music. Living with his father allowed him to be in the company and meet some of the biggest reggae and calypso stars of that era. At an early age he met men like The Mighty Sparrow, The Mighty Arrow, The Mighty Hero, Reality, Gregory Isaacs, Byron Lee and many more.

Sadiki-I attributes living with his father as one of the biggest musical influences of his life. He states, “from the time I was young my father had me by his side. I would get up with my father almost every Saturday to hit the liquor store and fill his van with cases and cases of liquor as he prepared for a show that evening or night. Another part of my duties involved passing out flyers, stacks and stacks of flyers throughout the streets. My father would have me by his side and because of that I saw all aspects of the business up close and personal.” After Sadiki-I’s father died suddenly in 1984 of a heart attack, Sadiki-I was forced to return to Montserrat to live with his grandmother who had raised him from birth to eight years old. The island was fully immersed in the new sound of dancehall reggae at the time. While in Montserrat Sadiki-I was intrigued by the idea of making music. This was the first time Sadiki-I delved into his MC abilities and immediately made a name for himself on the local music scene. He sang on local sound systems alongside pioneers like The General Nazzar, Brigadier, Professor Money a.k.a.Ijah Menelik, Daddy Bushy, Penny Man, and many more.

“Some people get their musical talent because of their parents singing or playing. My father’s thing was he loved music and he was a big promoter of it. He had an immense collection. My love came from that. Being close and absorbing all that. Then discovering at 12 or 13 that I could ‘deejay’. It just grew from there. ” When Sadiki-I returned to Boston to live with his mother in Roxbury in 1986, he attended the prestigious Boston Latin School and continued his deejaying on local sounds. After graduating from Milton High School in 1991, Sadiki-I attended Morehouse College in Atlanta Georgia pursuing a higher education in Business Management, but was unable to finish due to a gun charge that landed him in prison for exactly one year. While in prison, Sadiki-I did a lot of soul searching and reading on the world’s major religions, but found them all wanting, except for the Rastafarian faith which he now embraces wholeheartedly. After his short stint in prison, Sadiki-I returned to Montserrat again in 1994 to “get more in tuned with Jah”. He spent many days and nights in the hills among some of Montserrat’s most elder Rastafarians, increasing his knowledge and wisdom on Rastafari and the world view. He states, “as a Rastafarian, you start seeing the world differently. Rastafari is my ideology now, my religion, and my truth.”He also began to take his musical talent much more seriously which resulted in him writing dozens and dozens of songs, some of which have yet to be recorded or titled.

Before music was a hobby; now, music is my mission.” And with a new mission Sadiki-I left Montserrat to head back to America in 1995, just three days before the island’s volcano woke up after 300 years of dormancy. Upon arriving back in Boston, he immediately began to pursue his musical career. He recorded his debut album I man see Judgment under the name Sadiki, alongside Batch, lead singer/producer/drummer of Boston’s hottest reggae band at the time Motion. Two singles from that album, sparked interest throughout the dancehall circuit. The feedback he received from his two singles “Herb You Fi Light” and “Bible Holy” was “overwhelming”. But Sadiki-I’s success was short lived due to a possession of marijuana conviction that landed him in prison again, this time for two years. During his time in prison, Sadiki-I improvised his style of writing and deejaying. The hip-hop style of music that Sadiki-I grew up listening to manifested itself more and more in his writing. He now sounds half-way between a reggae deejay and a rapper, which is a style uniquely his own.

THE TIDE
Kings of the hill (2010)
In the fall of 2010 The Tide release their third album Kings of the hill, which promises to be more aggressive and crude, yet still poetical.
They release infinite number of unique albums! How is this possible?
On official website www.thetide.si everyone can design unique album covers for free and share them with the world. Main idea was to offer everyone to be a part of this album, a part of their music, etc.

History (projects, albums, videos, etc.)
The Tide have released three albums so far Love&Trust – 2006, Live&Clean – 2008 the latter being a live recording from a show named “Izštekani na Valu 202″ – a show with host Jure Longyka on national Slovenian radio, Kings of the hill – 2010).
The specter of band’s creativity though reaches into other musical spheres – creating movie music for films En Natt (Sweden) and a couple of short movies (Horizont, The Cloud catcher).
The Tide also participated in a street performance with a dance group called Mana, playing on the streets of Slovenia live and unplugged, not to mention that their music appeared in a number of commercials in Slovenia.
Cooperating with a creative video director and movie expert Miha Knific, so far The Tide has released several music videos. In September 2009, a new video for single Snow! , which is presented on their third album, came out, raising much acclaim and serving as a teaser for the upcoming album, as well as promotion for the short movie Cloud catcher. All the band’s videos have been premiered on MTV and shown around Slovenia’s TV stations successfully. The band has also been busy playing live – in addition to many shows they even arranged their own Slovenian “Soul out tour” with Canadian artist Neil Leyton&The Ghosts.

About music
The Tide states that main focuses when it comes to creation process are harmony, melody and lyrics’ meaning, combining them together as well as possible and according to the band’s liking. This approach is also visible and especially audible on The Tide’s live shows, where the band adds another two important ingredients – live spontaneous feeling and communication with the audience.
One could say that The Tide live sounds energetic as well as theatrical. Their shows often include video projections featuring special art video clips made and designed for a special song. The Tide used this whole audio/video approach to perform on some of Slovenia’s greatest festivals.
The Tide’s music genre tries to remain distant to normal pop-rock trends, though they still don’t want to break up that connection completely, just alter it and design it to their own needs. Their music is by the majority of the critics’ opinions multi-layered and meant to be heard more-than-once to really get the whole idea.

Meital’s new video “Yummy” is actually a follow-up video to her viral smash “Yummy Boyz,” which has already garnered more than a million hits on YouTube.
