In 2006 Bonani “Zin” Phaweni, (Born February 4th, 1987) a seasoned Los Angeles Film Director (LA Film School) and South African Recording Artist (unsigned) embarked on a journey to become the next big thing in entertainment.
After a year and a half of working non-stop 18/7 days, The South African born and bred performer began collecting enough skills and accolades in the art of film, Music songwriting, producing and many more that would guarantee his permanent status and staying power in the industry
A business savvy artist, Zin makes strictly commercial music, with the combined sound of Eclectic R&B/Hip-Hop/Rock, Zin knows how to blend old school with the new school to bring the world a timeless sound that they will love and accept. From crowd hype, club banging hip hop tracks to rock, RnB/rap mixes to Dance/house music; Zin knows how to keep the crowd wanting more. Having embarked on a trip across the globe, shooting music videos, travel and tourism reality show, this extrovert is set to make a tremendous splash on the entertainment scene as journeys can be heard and seen in is music videos.
In just under a year since 2009, with the help of his friend and main producer (Chico), Zin picked up a camera and mic and so together they have created songs such as Wont you tell me again, Special, I’m so cold and soon to be hit smash We Love Hip Hop.
