T-Ran Gilbert
International recording artist and evangelist T-Ran Gilbert is taking Christian music to masses yet unreached around the world. A natural born leader and visionary, T-Ran redefines the idea of the Contemporary Gospel artist through his powerful message, “Live and Not Die.” Signed to Life-Line Worldwide in 2011, T-Ran Gilbert is Founder of the multifaceted 22Visionz LLC, which houses 22Visionz Records, 22Visionz Ministries and 22Visionz Fashions.
T-Ran Gilbert began his musical journey on the kitchen table of his parent’s two-bedroom house in Chattanooga, Tenn., where, at the age of three, he was dancing and singing on the table with his younger sister, Skieree. T-Ran’s parents, Russell Sr. and Teri Gilbert, enhanced and nurtured the calling upon their son’s life. He advanced from singing in the youth choir of St. Elmo Baptist Church in Chattanooga to directing the choir by the age of 13.
With a contemporary style of Christian music that fuses elements from all genres, T-Ran struggled in those early years to find his place within the walls of traditional church music. God led him to a place in his life where he was blessed to perform his unique style of music in and outside of the church. From the Bud Light Stage at Chattanooga’s own River Bend Festival to the Turner Field in Atlanta, T-Ran Gilbert has touched many people across cultural and generational lines as a contemporary Christian artist and a dynamic Praise & Worship leader. He has sold and donated thousand copies of his three EPs across the country and garnered radio airplay at stations across the United States and abroad. T-Ran says: “We are all called to Inspire and Impact.”
Never forgetting his roots, T-Ran Gilbert has continued serving the city where he was raised and in 2011, he was honored with the “Key to the City” by his hometown of Chattanooga, and a Proclamation of Professional Achievement by the State of Tennessee. Through his positive music and message, God is working mightily through T-Ran Gilbert at home and abroad, thus expanding his borders worldwide. T-Ran Gilbert is currently headlining his first major tour, L.A.N.D. Tour 2011-12, in promotion of his highly-anticipated debut album, L.A.N.D. (The Beginning), which is set for release worldwide in 2012.
