Songwriter isn’t normally something you think of when you hear the works “Gospel Artist,” but that’s precisely what makes Hollywood Holly so unique. Coming out of Virginia Beach, Hollywood Holly has been changing the face of contemporary Gospel with his interesting mix of hip hop and gospel songwriting.
The video for his single “Take Me Home” is an example of his take on songwriting; touching on real subjects that people are faced with on a daily basis. Things like doubting faith, ailing family ties, and a need to come back to your roots. While addressing all these issues, there’s still a message of hope that there’s more to life than the mistakes we make.
