Breached “Piece by Piece”

Cranked. Heavy. Melodic. These are just some of the words that have been used to describe Toronto’s Breached.

The band’s story begins in late 2010 when four men met in an undisclosed hospital delivery room. No one will ever know what transpired that day other than that it inspired something big, something that could only be expressed through music.

Creating an alluring blend of melodious, metal-tinged rock ‘n roll, it didn’t take long for Breached to start winning over fans with their live shows and five-song self-titled EP. The band’s tight harmonies and nail-hitting screams combined with overdriven guitars, intricate tempos and powerful lyrics provide a unique blend that audiences can’t seem to get enough of.

“We feel that there is a lot of music out there that fails at one major thing – triggering emotions,” says vocalist Bobby Noakes. “We want people to connect with our music not only because it has a great sound, but because of the lyrical content and emotion we put into the songs.”

While they toured Canadian and US dates during the spring and summer month of 2013, Breached kept fans satisfied with a second EP ‘Revolution Sessions,’ an acoustic version of their debut EP plus a stripped down cover of Alice In Chains ‘No Excuses’, which was also joined by a series of in-studio music videos for the EP.

Now locked and reloaded, BREACHED released their third EP ‘Left Behind’ on October 22, 2014 with their title track hitting radio across Canada. Their follow up single “Piece by Piece” will be released to radio across Canada in January 2015, with the video being Premiered exclusively by Pure Grain Audio.com . The video for “Piece by Piece” is an interactive video that allows the viewer to choose the next move throughout the video. Shot and edited by Canadian production company Love and Crossbones, the interactive video for “Piece By Piece” is the first of it’s kind to be released by an independent band in Canada.
